La Ferté-Alais - Aérodrome de Cerny is a little grass field about 45 km south of Paris It has run an annual airshow ("Fête aérienne") for 33 years (true in 2005) that is usually attended by about 40 000 spectators. Usually, planes from England, the US, Russia, and Germany are shown, the emphasis lying on French planes from eight decades.
