Burg

The village is situated at the borderline of two major parts of Lower Austria, one of the nine provinces of Austria.

Its elevation is about 1100 feet. About 1450 inhabitants live in 10 smaller villages in an area of about 16 square miles, of which 20% is covered by forests.

The three main sightseeing attractions are a castle from the 16th century surrounded by a water filled moat, a Romanesque church and its adjacent early Romanesque bone house.
